Great restaurant, friendly service, delicious food grilled on an open fire in the restaurant, good fruit brandies at the end .... in short .... Highly recommended .... 🖒🖒

Originally. Easy. Well. Many people don't need haute cuisine in their life. And certainly not on your vacation. The Enzianhütte asks exactly that. You are greeted with a smile by a young blonde in costume and led to the square (because of Corona). You can tell that she enjoys this job. Then you order the drinks and choose your meal from a few soups and almost 10 main courses. Afterwards you can have nice conversations, look forward to the open fireplace, which is grilled on, and finally enjoy your meal. The preparation can certainly take a while. But everything is freshly prepared. The onion soup and the coleslaw are highly recommended. Both things are very tasty.

The food is carelessly prepared without any ideas. The salmon is dry and so is the meat. The menu is so short that there is a wish that what is on offer is at least professionally prepared. Unfortunately not. Bring patience. 1.5 hours after receipt of the order. Then all hunger is gone. We won't be back. That's for sure.

Sorry, but that's not possible at all. We were there with our 3 children and wanted to spend a last nice holiday evening. But what we were offered there was a smooth 5 in school grade! The ordered lamb left doubts as to whether it was such a thing at all. There was nothing to be seen on the meat from the grill. One of the children actually got the ordered baked camembert on a sticky toast, without any decoration. Taking money for it is almost cheeky. On top of that, the dishes took about 1.5 hours ... that was the last time for us. Man with a bad day can't explain that, but I think it's cheeky to treat guests like that.

Atmosphere, very nice. Getting food takes a long time and instead of grilled meat as ordered, we got it in the pan.

The restaurant is smaller and very cozy to sit on - with an open fireplace. The menu is manageable (rather fewer dishes), but I think there is something for everyone. The food was good, the service very friendly and attentive. Price-performance ratio for the area (Tegernsee) okay.

Absolut great food and so cosy. Real Country feeling. The steak gets grilled on the open fire in the restaurant. What a great customer service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Food - Typical Bavaria

Quaint, super nice people, the grilled meat great, the apricot brandy is a poem. Tip: grilled Barberieentenbrust. Brilliant. The home-baked bread is great.

Very good food. Even those who were sitting at the table were very satisfied with their food. You should, however, bring time. Sometimes it takes a little longer. But very good.

We were as satisfied as ever. For 50 years we enjoy the unchanged atmosphere, and good food.

A very quaint place, the food was very good and came quickly. Meat was grilled at the fireplace in the local. The people are super nice and the schnapps, from the own distillery, highly recommended. We had a very cozy and pleasant evening.

Nice restaurant to sit outside, friendly service, food was okay, only the Kaiserschmarrn was more like scrambled eggs with compote .....

Love this very rustic place in the Bavarian alps with its traditional charm and open fireplace where the owner (at an old age) is barbecuing their signature dish "grill-fleisch". Very friendly service. Great clientele and reasonable prices. The Enzianhutte is definitely worth a visit.
